Feel free to add me to the list 457 (lost out to tie break)

I’m thinking maybe this b2b draw (if it counts) is also a good sign for those who are waiting for PPR.

Possibly because CIC has cleared or about to clear the current backlogs very soon, and they feel it’s time to issue more ITAs. We might expect a rain of PPR very soon ;)

Stay positive and carry on!

Wow. Actually, it's still a pretty high score. I just don't get it. Till now, this year's draw list (shown in this forum) have only (7000+) candidates in 451-500 category and every draw has almost 3600 invites.
If there are only 7000 people with 450+ score then why is 450+ be the minimum score in almost every draw? Shouldn't it be the maximum score? Is it like all 56000 invitees have got score above 450?
I got 429 and yet the consultants say to me like, "you are good to go" or "you are qualified. You just have to wait for 6 months" and what else. Is this all just B.S. or I really have a chance with this score?
If not, what can I do to increase this score?

Any suggestions are welcome.

Others may be able to advise more but in my opinion, I think the score of 429 is a little too low - I believe the lowest ever draw was 438, but I may be wrong.

What score did you get in your IELTS? This is usually a good place to start for increasing your CRS score - I went from 441 to 457 when I retook my IELTS.

** Edit, I've just read that it's dropped below 429 before, possibly even to 413 so I guess there is hope! Still, I would try and increase your score if you can.

You need to give your background (age, education, IELTS, work experience, etc) so that people can offer you suggestion

Pardon me if I am missing anything here, but wasn't the cut off way below 457 prior to May. Then how come the tie breaker rule applied to March. o_O
One thing I can explain logically and also stated on CIC website is like: this 457 candidate must have lower score when the cut off score in 1st May draw was 450 and had an improvement of IELTS score or new ECA.

As you know, any changes or increased in score of EE profile won't change the date of submision. Your date of submission will still be your initial date when you submit the EE profile for the first time. Thus, if this person submitted his/her EE profile in March initially and update their profile in July with new IELTS or ECA report that resulted in an increase of their CRS score, their date of submission is still gonna be March not July.

Yup I am wrong on Aug 28 draw and I accept it, what a big surprise from CIC to shut me up lol

but I need to remind everyone that "be careful the possibility of 3 weeks gap"

I will let the party continue here and sign off for now
Actually you are wrong second time in a row and given your above reminder I hope you are wrong the third time. Third time is a charm isn't it....???

I've been watching these threads for a while and you seem to only bring doom and gloom onto them. Might be best keeping your negativity to yourself!

Why not try to build people's sprirts up instead of knocking them down?

There is no need to respond to this guy; better to just ignore completely. The more you respond, the more you're giving him energy to keep coming back.
