Yep, you got it right. Moreover the cut off for oinp will drop too as its been hovering above 439 for a longtime and this Federal draw will force the to.There we a few guys who were crying their work permit is expiring soon/birthday coming up in September and they were all 458 plus.. I am so happy for them...
These guys have been living on the edge..
All those guys who said crappy stuff like OINP and federal government work together, thus NOI's are issued upto 465 etc etc.. well you guy tried to make a nice story.. better luck next time..
It's just OINP who is trying to make the 1500$ and federal is not involved. I wish the artificial way of managing the scores this year was not true, many more worthy people below 439 would have got the OINP NOI. Nevertheless with fewer people accepting the NOI's today onwards hopefully more NOI's from Ontario coming up !!
You shouldn't accept the invitation as it will mostly likely result in a rejection, and frankly you shouldn't update your profile to 2 degrees at all. This is what other people on this forum call fake profile and you just wasted an ITA.Hi all,
My profile is at 457 and so will receive an ITA shortly, but I had a question to ask.
I got an ECA from WES for my Bachelor's degree, and also received one last week for my Associate degree in Computer Science. They are both in my profile. However, WES evaluated my Associate degree as:
"Secondary school diploma from a university-preparatory program with undergraduate credit"
I entered this as a second degree/diploma in my profile, but now I'm having doubts whether this will really qualify as a 2nd degree or not. I have reached out to WES as well because I am contesting the evaluation.
I don't want to accept the invitation and apply thinking that I will qualify for 2 degrees, when in fact they will only consider my Bachelor's degree.
Could anyone please help?
Wait for WES' response, recalculate your score using the calculator if it's different than expected. If you are still above 457, you are good to go. You have 60 days to apply, don't sweat it.Hi all,

suck it up for a change. This is unnecessary. Cic should first deal with all the PR application backlogs instead of inviting more people.
If you are above 457, Tie breaker does not apply.Just missed the 457, just because of tie-breaker, I am on 461
You're in. Tie breaker is for 457 folksJust missed the 457, just because of tie-breaker, I am on 461
Go for OINP. Too many uncertainties could happen especially with an election going on. You could wait well into first half of 2020 with CRS 450. If you apply for OINP you are mostly guaranteed for an ITA by early October. The only downside is 1500 CAD.I received OINP NOI on Aug 1. CRS 450. Should I wait for 2 more draws or go ahead and submit my OINP application? Thanks!
Submit it sir. Don't wait. CIC is highly unpredictable.I received OINP NOI on Aug 1. CRS 450. Should I wait for 2 more draws or go ahead and submit my OINP application? Thanks!
@13nitinsharma Could you kindly provide your input. Thank you.I received OINP NOI on Aug 1. CRS 450. Should I wait for 2 more draws or go ahead and submit my OINP application? Thanks!
