Hey should we go with marksheets of only the final year that university conducted or all initial years too for which i have transcripts from college on college letterhead ?

Please go back to the University and tell them the issue. Write a request letter to university explaining the situation. MU is very helpful and should issue a response letter to you which can be sent to WES.
For ECA especially for Bcom do we need the transcript for the final year or we need to send college transcript as well. If we need to send years college transcript should it be send seperately from the final transcript. Plz help

I have got my verification of TY BSC done by university of Mumbai , now I have taken the transcripts and verification from Mithibai College for FYBSC and SYBSC.
The thing is how should I courier both ?
Do I need to courier the Mithibai package from a post nearby Mithibai Pincode or put both university of Mumbai package and Mithibai package in one and courier it through the university of Mumbai postal code with they have in Kalina ?
Kindly suggest.

14-August-2019: I am a Bachelor of Engineering, 2003. Visited Mumbai University Kalina campus. They said the process has now shifted online to a website called http://mu.directverify.in (http://mu.directverify.in) and refused to take any request for transcripts for WES. Everywhere in Mahatma Phule Bhavan (where they usually take WES transcripts requests) there are posters displayed mentioning that the process has moved online. Further, the person (section no. 24 on first floor) who used to process requests for transcripts has no idea who / how to respond to digital requests through this portal. Has anyone used this service before? Is this the same process now followed at Churchgate as well?
"transcripts for all Sem (issued by college, I submitted original, so it has two stamps one of college and one of university attestation)" - would it have been possible for you to simply take the university stamp on photocopies of all 1-8 semester Marksheets and send to WES. Probably they got confused by seeing college stamp on 1st semester Marksheet.@amtak @VishalPK
Guys, I recently got the below response from WES and I am now totally confused, as to how should I now proceed further or what documents should I resend.
I am BE grad from VJTI 2002 batch, VJTI was affiliated to Mumbai University back then.
I submitted University attested (from the Churchgate office) documents as below:
- Degree Certificate
- Degree passing certificate
- marksheets (Sem 2, 7, 8 university issued and Sem 1,3,4,5,6 college issued)
- transcripts for all Sem (issued by college, I submitted original, so it has two stamps one of college and one of university attestation)
Sent it in a university stamped and sealed envelope, with "FROM" address as stamp of Registrar, University of Mumbai address. Couriered by DHL near university office in churchgate.
Any guidance will be highly appreciated.

Hi, was your application accepted and verified by WES with attested Marksheets but without transcripts?
WES website says “mark sheets / statement of marks” under the section “required documents”. It doesn’t use the word “transcripts”. However, Mumbai Univ asks transcripts. FYI, my engineering degree is >10 years old. Not sure if / how it matters to Univ / WES though...

WES sent the copies for Secondary evaluation to Mumbai University as per a new rule.
Wes site says they can only proceed if university replies on this and my application status is On hold since 4 months.
What can be done here? Tried calling and emaing but no response from university.
Which campus should I go to enquire about this. As I dont live in Mumbai anymore , will they help if I send a friend instead?

- Students having ATKT, backlog in college or university examination can’t apply for WES process. “If applied the Transaction would decline and strict action would be taken from University”.

While I could not find an article from Mumbai University announcing a tie up with the service. I am aware that this service is used by many top colleges to verify their degrees online for overseas education/immigration etc.
For example St. Xaviers College Mumbai insists people use the directverify service (http://xaviers.edu/main/index.php/education-verification) -
"We insist all Employers, Agencies, Educational institutions and Corporate Organizations to use xaviers.directverify.in which is an online platform for the reasons of quality standards fixed by St. Xavier's College.
The increase in counterfeit certificates worldwide has been a major concern over the years and has caused tremendous damages to various institutions."
Based on that alone I would assume that directverify.in is a genuine service.
