my exact receiving date was Dec 17,2018 then I got mail for medical in Feb around 20th. After that i heard from them on august 1st,2019 that my file was tranfered to visa office london. My question is that how many more days are they going to take approx? some people are saying it will take more then 4 months or 6 months?

Be happy that you file got transferred . Now its all depends on how London want to process your application.

One girl received PPR last week (August 10,11) and her file was transferred on July 04. She was November applicant. So, goodluck i hope you and many others like us will not have to wait much after the file gets transferred to LVO.

12 months is processing time... less than that consider good luck))) have to be patient....

Hi I am very NEW to all this but with the help of lawyer, submitted my application back in May 1, 2019 ( had my wedding in India on January then returned to Canada) . From May - July 2019 visited my husband in Afghanistan and UAE . CIC asked for the medical exam and Biometric while we were in UAE and my husband completed it in Dubai - CIC confirmed receiving medical result. I had included police certificate for three required countries along with my husband application. How do I know criminality passed? Or currently under security check? Do I contact the CIC call Centre?

What is next?? My lawyer said I have a very strong case so the chances of interview is small but I am worried about security check timing ... I heard LVO takes months to comelete background or security check, is it true? How long does it take to request passport for my husband ?

also I don’t know if I should provide more pictures or evidence of our trips in Afghanistan and UAE and just send it to London Visa Office ? I don’t even have their address or email to send them except the IRCC Web Form ...

The short answer to your question is you have to wait as many day as it needs. I know this is not what you are looking for but that is the reality. Don't compare with other applicants' processing time, it can be served as ballpark reference, but every case is different.

They do send a letter (not all vo do that) and also ecas changes to: we start processing your application on .... date.

My GCKey finally changed to application approved! COPR is on the way to me from Immigration Sydney Australia (I am in NZ). What a process this has been! These forums have been so helpful - good luck to everyone still waiting
