Past tuberculosis history

I was diagnosed with tuberculosis lymphadenitis.It is a rare form of tuberculosis(not transferable) that can be very difficult physically as well as mentally.After the diagnosis I had to undergo a surgery to remove a swollen lymph-node from his neck. It was a open wound that could not be stitched so it took around 5-6 months to heal.I was under regular medication and diagnosis.
I had to skip college for around 8 months keeping my health a top priority.
I was on oral medication that ended in December 2017
Now i have completed my 3 year program in 4 years becoz of this very problem.
Now that i want to apply to canada for further study.
Should i disclose this reason in my application or avoid it .
Are there any chance that my application may get rejected based on my history of TB ?

You need to be honest about your health history. Your scar Is visible so it is stupid to lie and misrepresenting gets you in more trouble than being honest. As long as you are currently healthy your Past TB status may result in more testing before you get accepted but not in a denial.

when it comes to tuberculosis they will never allow him to Canada before he is medically cleared. YES HE NEED TO RECIEVE THE TREATMENT IN HIS HOME COUNTRY EVEN IF IT IS NOT TRANSFERABLE.

The clinical guidelines will need to be followed. If it is determined that his/her latent TB will need to be treated he/she will be required to receive treatment before getting a study permit. I have been saying this from the beginning. There is no need to yell especially since I am the one who has been providing the correct information.

@canuck78 i am in similar situation. I had non active tb and had taken 3 months off work.
my problem is more pnp specific. do i have to specifically mention that i had tb to ontario pnp or i can just say i had medical complications and had taken leave to recover. will disclosing this cause any problems with receiving nomination from ontario?

You must mention this to the panel physician. Not sure if there is a question related to health in the pnp application. If so you need to answer honestly. They will be able to see scarring in your lungs and would anticipate that you will need to do a 3 month sputum culture.

I had non pulmonary tb, so no question of scar. I am definitely going to disclose this to panel physician if i reach that stage.right now, In Ontario PNP we have a section where we need to declare sick leaves. I was thinking of putting this in more generic way in pnp say "due to ongoing medical issues, had taken leave of 3 months" rather than saying tb.
