PR application processing at CIC Calgary

Hi! My AOR is Jan 25 2019. I am FSW outland. My country of residence is US. I thought US cases were being processed in Montreal. Do you have any idea about the processing times for Calgary?

I am FSW-O and Indian residing in US. I know 2 guys with Dec 2018 AOR whose file got transferred to Calgary from Montreal and approved within 7 months from AOR (within 2 months after transferred from Montreal). Not too much information though. When was ur file transferred to Calgary? Are you on WhatsApp?

Did you contacted cic (call or webform) lately? Whats your latest status? you can also try to contact Ralph's office.

I am not really sure when my file was transferred to Calgary. As per my GCMS notes back in June 13, it was still in Montreal. I raised a webform query and got a response yesterday that my case is being processed in Calgary.

Thank you for giving me the information. I really hope the case moves faster now that its transferred out of Montreal. I feel like any VO will be faster than Montreal.

• The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied
• The background verifications are currently not in process yet.

I also got the similar response to my webform on 22nd July. Since then it still says not started. I got my gems notes couple of days back which shows my file transferred to Calgary on June 14th but nothing else done till 17th July when the notes were generated. I have raised another webform yesterday. Lets stay in touch as our files are too close. Hopefully we might both get some updates around same time

Calgary is one of the slowest VOs... Don't know why it takes much longer than most of the other offices... My case has been handling there for more than 14 months. Called CIC two times this week with no luck. SS is still in progress. Hopefully, all of us can be of big luck soon.

did you already passed the eligibility and when? Also, do you know the reason why your file is in SS? Any red flag country you visited or any military exp? Did you do remedial or Calgary extended your medical by itself?

no sensitive work experience, no sensitive travel destination. my EE passed some time in Dec. 2018. they extended my medical exame. Details see my signature.

Is there VO and do PR processing? How did you know? I thought Alberta has only one i.e. in Edmonton!

Its the local IRCC office. Got to know from GCMS notes and the agent confirmed too that my file is in Calagary IRCC.
