Wrote the test today. Very straight forward set for questions. Got 20/20. Got called in for interview and took my old and current passports, PR card, health card, and driver's license. Pretty basic questions asked in the interview - where do I stay, where do I work, etc. And then the rep. went through all the stamps in my passport and checked off the dates on my citizenship application (they had a copy of the citizen application in front of them). Interview lasted about maybe 5-10 minutes total.

had interview on 8 August. Surprisingly the officer gave us ceremony invitation for the next day(9 august)
processing time was totally 12 month and 21 days.
This was the end of our journey.
Now what can I do with my addiction to checking CIC site

May I ask where did you take your test and the oath ceremony? Is it in Scarborough?

It seems Scarborough recently offered next day oath ceremony.

yes
all applicants (75) in the ceremony took the test the day before.
the ceremony was not officially scheduled on CIC site so I think it was a kind of fast truck for late applicants

I gave test on 25-July and have got oath invite for 23-Aug.
When is your oath ceremony ?

No news from the Scarborough office? the last movement in my case was last December when I got a request for finger prints.
I contacted them back in February to check they got the finger prints and they said they did but nothing after.
It is frustrating

I called right after the 1-year mark, and the agent said that i had passed all of the background checks, and was in the queue. He also said (no surprise) that the Scarborough office is quite backed up. He did, though, add a note to my file and said that should speed it up, but that it would take up to a month for anything to happen. It's been 2-3 weeks and nothing yet. Anyone with a similar experience?

Same here. My application was received mid July 2018. It was in process early September 2018. Called them mid July 2019. They said they will follow it up and contact them again after one month if nothing happens. I’ll give them a call maybe next week if I won’t hear anything from them. The lady said that my application is in Mississauga office.

Everything is exactly the same for me as it is for you. Same time frame, same office and same response from the agent.

I guess all we have to do now is to wait more.
