reference letter

Hello everyone
My previous employer did not give me the reference letter.Should I get it from a fellow employee who is still working with the same organisation or from my senior who has left that organisation.Kindly suggest.

If you worked for a half decent company, it is their obligation by law to provide you with a experience letter. If it’s a mom and pop operation just get it from anyone associated with the company willing to give you. But usually these would have to be on a company letter head signed by your HR or supervisor with contact information. Otherwise what’s to prevent anyone from getting a random reference letter.

I have the experience letter from the company for the period I served but i dont have the letter stating my duties wrt to the NOC.A fellow colleague who is still working with then is ready to sign it for me but she is working at the same postion as I was so will it hold good?

You can get it signed from her. Best, if it can be done on a letterhead. Once you get the letter from her, make sure you get it notarised.

The refernce letter should contain her contact details (physical address, email and phone)

Hello Dreamer,

Please help on below

My company is mearge with other company recently but my pay slip and all stub are from older company's name, i don't know how much time will take for change name. My designation and job responsibilities are same. I'm working from last 7 years.
I m in EE Pool and waiting from ITA. my question is...

1. should I change the employee details in profile or wait for name change.

2. what if name will change after ITA.
