Hey Friends - Yesterday my IELTS result got out (still need to wait 2-3 days for TRF).
I have got, total CRS of 332: Married, 8 years of non-Canada experience, no job offer, no study in Canada.

IELTS:
L 7
S 6.5
R 7
W 7

I am 36 years old and will be 37 in the next 3 months.

Question:
1. Should I enter to EE entry pool with this score or try more for better IELTS?
2. Once I enter into the pool would my score's and ECA's age matter? My scores are 1 day old and ECA is 2 years old.

Any advice would matter a lot, please do post. Thanks

332 is way too low. What about your spouse? Are you getting points for him?

I'm assuming you both have a Bachelor's degree. With that, and if you both score CLB 10 in the IELTS , you can score a maximum of 408 points (dropping to 403 after you turn 37). That score is also too low, but you may have a shot at a PNP program depending on your education and experience.

You can enter the pool as long as you qualify, and you can update your IELTS scores if you take it again. Your ECA will be valid for five years, so plenty of time on that.

Realistically speaking your chances of getting an invite are very very low. The only chance you have is to get a PNP nomination. It does make sense to be in the pool for that, you never know.

You are right. PNP is the only choice for me. I will go alone not with the spouse. I have 8 years of experience, Full time Bachelors Degree course.
So back to my original queries:
1. Should I enter into EE pool right now (cause I learned for a few provinces you have to be in EE pool first)? or attempt for few more IELTS to get better score?
2. Once entered into the pool would I still keep on losing points on age? I mean today I enter with 332 and after 1 year I will be kicked out of pool because points will be too less for PNP also.

1. Yes, you should enter the pool right now. Provinces pick people out of the pool, you can't get picked if you're not in the pool. You can retake the IELTS and update your scores while you're in the pool.

2. Yes, you will lose points on your birthday, and your profile is only active for a year. However, nothing stops you from reentering the pool next year.

Your points are unfortunately quite low even if you retake the IELTS and get a CLB 10. Still, since you've already taken the IELTS and gotten an ECA, you may as well enter the pool. It doesn't cost anything to enter; you've already spent the money you had to.

PNPs don't really go by points. The provinces look at your experience/qualification and match it to their needs. If they want you, they will invite you even if you have 200 points. You will get 600 points for a provincial nomination so that will guarantee an invite.

Don't get your hopes up, though. Provinces are mostly looking for younger people. The chances of getting a PNP nomination are very slim, but better than getting a direct invite through Express Entry (that's basically zero). Again, as you've already spent the money, might as well enter the pool.
