Help- PPR email received, validity

I recieved a PPR email asking for our passports, which is good news. I need to know the validity of this visa. I heard that it is linked to the medical test and passport expiration. My question is, which date do they use for medical, the test release date OR the date in the CIC account where it says: Medical passed on ....

You can ask for an extension (not guaranteed) or you just do a soft landing.

Soft landing is just landing for a short stay. Maybe a week and getting your copr stamped before returning back to your home country. But please note that you cannot re enter canada without your PR card which will be sent to the address you provided during soft landing. It is best you give them the address of a friend in Canada who can then mail this card to your home country. PR card might take 2 months or more to arrive.

I do not have their contact. It is best you communicate with the visa office handling your application directly .
