Chill ... people are waiting for months as opposed to days. Have some patience please!Still waiting for the draw but feel a bit disappointed. I submitted the profile last week and hope to get ITA today...
2017 430-440
2018 440-450
2019 first half 450-460 (highest 470)
2019 second half 460+ only?
It seems to be a possible scenario (from this discussion) but I cannot think of why they would do that.Spot on...I think it's a concerted effort by CIC to keep the score 460 + this year..
If you read clearly, I said "If I'm not mistaken"No - your score is never frozen. After AOR also - if your score drops then you need to inform CIC that my birthday has gone and etc. Please don't give false information. SCORE is never frozen.
As I told in previously CIC wIll try to keep score above 455-456 . When they know that CRS will go below this numbers they will skip the Draw and the same happened Previously in this year.If the draw did not take place for reasons other than technical glitch, it implies CIC is in no mood to bring the score below 460....next in line PNP approvals....CRS shoot up....then FST draw again CRS shoot up because of the gap that will be created by FST draw. ...as I heard that almost 99% US people in H1B and L1 VISAS are applying besides the Quebec applicants.....all those factors including people with improved IELTS score , spouse not accompanying etc....slowly losing hope now even at 458....this score was breeze last year ....
Anyway senior guys, wats ur prediction for next draw ??.....restart the ray of hope again...
There are so many Civic holidays on Monday but why only in November Draw happens on ThursdayI was just going through previous draws and noticed that on November 15th, 2018 a draw was conducted on thursday instead of wednesday because there was a stat holiday in Canada that monday (nov 12- Rememberence day). This monday it was civic holiday. So there might be a draw tommorow.
I respectfully disagree on crs being 460 if there is a draw tommorow. It is not going to increase that much in just one day. It might still be 458.As I told in previously CIC wIll try to keep score above 455-456 . When they know that CRS will go below this numbers they will skip the Draw and the same happened Previously in this year.
So my advice to everyone don’t hope for CRS to go below 456 try to Increase your CRS and try to keep your CRS near 460.
Last year in November there Draw happened on Thursday and if it happens tomorrow CRS will be 460 and if Draw happens next week than CRS will be above 465.
I think you mean stat holidays. No there aren't so many but yes it wasn't the case always however, it is still a possibility. There are so many Civic holidays on Monday but why only in November Draw happens on Thursday
Don't lose hope. The next draw seems a bit far now, even if it takes two weeks, your score of 467 is good enough to get thru. Ideally the draw will happen tomorrrow or Friday or 14th august or most definitely 21st August. So you have enough time to decide on whether to accept PNP or not. The ielts may be stressful, but worrying about it now is only going to make the matter worse. The worst-case scenario, you may need to retake it and get the best score you can get and since you have the PNP option, you don't need to worry about getting perfect ielts score.I have created my profile During May with score 461 hoping it would get picked in next draw. To my bad I lost 5 points and my score became 456. On next day the draw was 460.
When I had high score, draw never happened.
My score became 467 as I completed 2 years last week. I was bit happy again.
Now again they skipped draw. On the other hand My IELTS is getting expired on 19 aug.
Also my 1 year job offer is valid until aug 30 2019.
Two many twists making me disappointed
Also I got PNP in which I have to take decision before Aug23rd. Really not sure what I have to do with on going draws
