The standard processing time for SDS online applications is 20 calendar days. Some have gotten results earlier than 20 days, some later. I applied from Vietnam under SDS online and my application was approved in 16 calendar days.i need to be there by 29 th of september. lol
i’ve seen my friends getting approved within a week. and i’ve also seen cases who didn’t get it even after 90+ days. this is really unpredictable.

Hi! I m from Pakistan.I am currently doing my bachelor in social sciences.I have got IELTS result today.
I got 6 in reading,7 in listening,6.5 in writing and 6 in speaking.
I have also a sister in Edmonton Alberta who is Canadian citizen.
I m going to apply for study permit in the coming days under SDS
.DO U GUYS THINK THAT MY APPLICATION WILL HAVE INFLUENCE BECAUSE OF MY SISTER?I m really worried about it and plz recommend me a province where i should apply for.
Thanks in advance
My sister is now Canadian citizen,of course, she is staying in Canada legally. So,u telling me that i should apply another province rather than Alberta.i also applied for my nephew and his sister is in vancpuver and leagle.if she came there leaglaly donot worry apply it just apply in some other city
how your sister get citizen ship? yes its better to take admission in different province to show your ties strong to your country .because if u take admission in your sister's city VO can think you will not go back end of your studies.as my nephew also applied different city and he has his widow mother too in Pakistan .so he will back after studies .My sister is now Canadian citizen,of course, she is staying in Canada legally. So,u telling me that i should apply another province rather than Alberta.
Moreover, tell me did ur nephew get his visa?
Literally does not matter both of my sisters are citizens and my brother was on work permit and i still got visa if anything this might even work in your favor if you have siblings working and living legally in canadaI ll really appreciate your suggestions!

this is just my opinion.it can be wrong too .but its my experience i got my self TRV after 8 years of my first apply i applied almost 6 or 7 times.
i had good business , balance, tax and main thing travel history from my collage time to Europe, Asia ,Africa and USA almost 3 times a year.still i was refused for Canada .2 times my refusal was travel history .
so some times luck also matters.and time
