So in case, the draw isn't today my IELTS expires Aug 18 and the next IELTS date is Aug 17. My score right now is 480 and I do not know what to do since result takes 13 days and I won't get the new result in time for the next draw. What should I do? Stay in the pool and if I get the ITA do I tell them I need to update with new score??
go for computer based

Hi! Please keep your chins up. I know everyone has invested a lot of time in this process but these things have to be done right more than quickly. If not today then some other day. It can be disheartening and you will feel like, is this my bad luck or destiny but please think of it as a part of the process. Dont objectify it as your misery because moving to Canada can be a dream but is not the be all and end all of the world for you. Go to bed and wake up positive. Either wait for the next draw and do some good things in life till then or wait for it sulking. I do not mean to offend or discourage anyone. This is just me thinking out loud.

Just remember that you'll have to provide proof of his PR status (P.R Card) and of his residence in Canada. (Bank statement or utility bill).
He has his PR card. I may have to wait a little while to get bills and home address etc. But scores will drop bcos of age . I will be a year older by February

if the next draw happens before Aug 17th then you are safe to submit the application ASAP before it expires. Regardless I would be booking the earliest date available right now. Even if the draw happens early, your application might be refused or cancelled like mine(incomplete), not that I am willing that upon you.

Hopes no good if crs scores are not falling. The negativity brigade that was kicked around here was actually right for once.

Yes, that is why I am booking the test. I just don't know what to do after. I have another test result that's still valid because I took it last month but drops my points a lot since I messed it up. Should I change my result to the latest in case the draw doesn't happen soon or should I accept ITA and then give new results once I get them for the Aug 17 test.

If somehow you get the ITA this week and submit your docs before the expiry date of your IELTS scores and get the AOR accordingly, I believe you won't have to bother about taking IELTS again. For this, draw has to happen within this week or on Monday.

I hope so, in that case, I have my documents ready.
