Hello all!

We submitted our application in January and application deadline was in July but we did not hear from IRCC yet. Anybody in similar situation?

Many of us are in the same boat, because unfortunately, it's not a 'deadline', just an 'estimate'..

Yeah. You should too, but don't expect anything more than a generic response.. Hope we all get it soon though!

That's what this forum is for And don't worry.. everything is slow lately, even their responses to the webforms, but they will eventually respond. One of my webforms was replied to after two weeks..

Hello lovely people, I called CIC to get a sense of what’s happening since the last GU I got on the 18th of July.

No great changes, it’s still the same - criminality - pass - eligibility- recommended pass - security - not begin yet

She also told me that she cannot send a reminder right now as the file is still being worked on.. which is always good.

When the file stays dormant for a long time, that’s when they ideally leave a follow up
Note for the VO.

Also, there was no mention of my earlier call, so those are not part of official notes if anyone ever wondered

Wait time was 17mins

My experience says that calling cic is the fastest way to get an update. Call them 11pm IST between tues-Thursday for the shortest wait times.

It's a form sent by IRCC. I almost repeated what was in my employer reference letter. My eligibility has been rec.passed as at then and I didn't know.I was scared that maybe I had issue with the eligibility, so I added more documents such as redeployment letters and training certificate to support my employment proof.

I have Bachelor and Masters degrees in totally different field from my NOC but had 6 years work experience in the same NOC claimed

that’s wonderful friend ... during my call on Friday last week I too asked phone agent to send reminder he said he can’t right now as everything look fine and reminder sending has different procedure ( don’t know what it means ) . My criminality pass security n Eligibility he said everything processing.. hope @rushi.gada we get good news soon

The file being worked on does seem like a positive that you can take from the entire call. And I hope and pray that it means that your PPR is just around the corner. Also thanks for sharing the details pertaining to the notes about the calls. Many of the members in the earlier post stated that they do track the calls that you make, maybe it is inconsistent then.

Hi all, just called IRCC wait time was 30 mins. agent was very sweet but she didn't tell much until i ask specifically about eligibility. status is same since july that everything is passed but file is in queue for final review and desicion.

I would be conservative and guess before the end of August
