Hi.
I applied for student visa online under sds category on 19th June.
Gave my biometric on 23rd June which showed on GC Key too.
Since then I haven't had any update.
GC Key is still showing "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility" and it's really freaking me out since the processing time under sds category is 20 days.
Even my medical doesn't show any change, there has been no change since 23rd June.

I'm really freaking out, what do I do?

Even I am bewildered with that.... I don't know what's taking so long time for them to issue visa.... It is like almost 60 days for me now.... What a pity thing

Yup tried webforum to local vac and they told my file is in cpc Edmonton and I didn't get any reply to the webform I sent to Edmonton... I am tired of this really

I got nothing from them.... 20 days waiting time has got extended to 60 days..... I am just feeling helpless... Why can't they Atleast revert back to us with an email that file is under process.... That gckey is like frozen piece of ice.. I am feeling like why did I even apply

Hey, you applied because it means something to you okay? And you know it'll help you in the future. I'm sure there'll be something positive. Just try to fill another web form. I'm in the same boat and as impatient as you are but hey this is important for us and we'll wait okay?

I think the processing time depends greatly on where you are applying from, even if it is SDS.

For reference, I applied from Vietnam under SDS online on 29th of June. Did my biometrics on 3rd on July. Got approved on 19th of July. It only took 16 days in my case.

I recommend that you send a Webform or call them directly.
