Clarification on Canadian Experience - Express Entry

Hello All,

Need your advice on following situation. I am an IT professional working in India in a MNC. I am part of a project for a Canadian client. Here is the scenario:

In May 2017, I was in Toronto for 4 months working for Canadian office of the same company on Work Permit

In 2018, again I was in Toronto for 4 months working for Canadian office of the same company on Work Permit

In Sep 2019, I will be going again for about 5 months for same assignment on Work Permit.

I have paid taxes in Canada for the salary I have earned in my last 2 tenures.

Please confirm that can I claim points for 1 year of total Canadian experience after completion of my 5 months by totaling 8 months of 2017 and 2018.

Based on follwing link, there are no requirements mentioned that work experience needs to be continous.

Thanks for your response. By any chance do you have link for any authentic website which confirms that "continous" 1 year of Canadian work experience is not required for Express Entry - Canadian Experience Class Program.
