Hi Everyone,

I applied my mother’s tourist visa application through online.She lives in the Philippines. I submitted her application on July 30,2019.
We received her Biometric Letter on July 31.

Can you share your parent’s timeline please.

Timeline (Parents and Brother)
July 13, 2019 - Submitted Online
July 18, 2019 - Biometrics Done
July 23, 2019 - Background and Biometric check completed
July 24, 2019 - PPR
july 26, 2019 - Went to VFS Global Phil to submit passport in person
July 28, 2019 - Counterfoiled and IRCC sent passport back to VFSGlobal for pickup
July 30, 2019 - Received a text from VFS that passport is ready for pickup until Aug 9.

Aug1- passport request

My mom is 62 and we we live few hours drive away to manila. So contemplating whether to submit the passport in person or just get one of our trusted friend to submit it for her.

I also think this means she got approved

This is my mom's timeline

Online Application: July 13, 2019
Biometrics Collection Letter: July 14 2019
Biometrics completed: July 17, 2019

and now stuck on "We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you."
