My orientation starts from 1st of September and I am planning to travel to Canada by the first week of August, that’s like 3 weeks earlier prior my orientation date. Is it okay to travel 3 weeks early before your orientation date? Please let me know.

Yes, however you must have proof of funds for the 3 weeks prior to your classes, as you cannot work till the classes start.

As for the proof of funds for the duration of 3weeks, saying that, do you mean by a bank statement or cash? Coz normally students carry cash for the duration of first 3months. Also, I will book an Airb&b hotel for the 3weeks duration before travelling as I have already found my accommodation starting from September 1st, just that I can’t move in before September, 1st.

Both cash and bank balance are OK. You will need to show the airbnb receipt and some amount of cash or balance in bank account for food.
