For s Sponsor why would that matter? To check my eligibility as a sponsor, they need to verify that I live in Canada and I meet income requirements. And my sponsor stage is stuck at application received.
For PA application it does matter which country applicant is from as agencies in some countries might be lazy to reply back IRCC inquiries but for sponsor, it doesn't make sense.

Did CIC sent you for any missing form or docu?
Did you submit via Webform and update / correction after submit your application on May 6th?

There was no communication with CIC since they sent me AOR on July 11. I thought my case would be reviewed in only couple days: lived in Canada for a while, same company for many years, income easily meets LICO, no-cosigner, and sponsoring one healthy person. Don't understand why it's not even started being reviewed. The only explanation is the assigned CO is on vacation

I'm May 3rd and still stuck at Application received for both sponsor and PA. I know PA application won't move until Sponsor is approved. So sometimes it doesn't make me any sense that to process sponsor application what's taking them so long. I provided them with SIN. And I'm living in Canada from over 7 years and own a home. Why officer is not able to verify this until now?
I got AOR on July 11 and haven't got any request for any documents or forms so far..

I am in a similar situation (May 6th). Wait and watch is the name of the game...

because PR application is also "In Process" stage.

Yes PCC required for all Applicant.

It looks good on paper and theory , Sponsorship approval means checking the relation ship as well . Application recd status will change in to process once IRCC check everything . Hopefully you will get something soon but I saw few countries applications go to little longer process .

Hi, I recently received my parent's medical request. Normally how long it takes for Biometric and final decision once have done with the medical exam? Also, once approved, how much maximum time normally they will get to come and cross the border to apply for PR Card ?

They didn't check my relationship when they issued visitor visa to my dad and that too, twice in last 4 years.

That is behind the scene process , have you noticed same day in process and decision made and you think IRCC is so fast and approve in a day .
