we got a reply to our query on status of application which is within the 6 month timeline on raising webform

Following was the response from IRCC:

• Your application was received through your online account, on February 18, 2019.
• Your application is currently being processed at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa, Ontario.
• The responsible office is currently reviewing the application and documents submitted to determine if you and your family members if applicable meet the eligibility requirements under the class for which you have applied. You can expect to be contacted if additional information is necessary.

• The medical examination results on file are valid.

Does it convey anything meaningful with respect to our application status?

Submitted new passport , got profile update on my profile yesterday, and the profile read' we are reviewing additional documents provided' does it mean it has been updated and ppr is coming?

I think it’s an application update. Site wide with no other meaning.

I too saw biometric completed to completed on 5th March. Bt also i saw ghost update that my profile is updated.
So I was confused whether it was related to biometric or der is some good news around coming soon.

Guys, in my GCMS note, I have the status of Info Sharing = System Error.

The PA has a System Error on the infosharing, USA, Aus, and NZ. Also there were comments about the fingerprints not being clear for a couple of fingers.
Is there anything that we can do? is this a reason for concern.

Can anyone share some insight on this? @legalfalcon

Where did you saw profile is updated?
I never observed ghost updates, don't how they look like. Can any body share what change will be there in my profile on so called GU.

Sample image of how a Ghost Update looks like below. Once you check your application and come back to this screen, the status would have reverted to "Submitted".
The changes may or may not be visible, so the speculation is that some internal processing has taken place and some part of your application processing is completed. Some people get an email, most do not.

Of late, the trend has been, that after 1 or 2 GUs, the PPR follows.

Hello @legalfalcon pls I need your advice or from anyone else. I got an ADR on Monday, 22nd of July and it states "Funds, proof: Provide bank statements highlighting salary deposits from ***** Company".

Now here is my question: should I only provide what they asked or include my fixed deposit certificate as well ? I'm asking because my POF was money given to me by my mum and I fixed it and provided the investment letter in my initial submission. I worry because they didn't the placeholder for upload is under POF and not employment. Thanks for your prompt response.

No need to worry. The info sharing is done electronically, and when it returns an error, you will see this. But it is inconsequential.
