Details of unaccompanying spouse

I am waiting for my PPR mail. I am married and my spouse is a dependent but while applying I had selected unaccompanying as he was doing his masters in US. Yet he was asked to do medicals and PCC etc.

I just wanted to understand how do I sponsor him later? Will he have to give IELTS?

He doesn't need to write IELTS,you can apply under spousal sponsorship program...

He won't have to give IELTS. However he will have to re-do the medical and PCCs.
