Hi, I just realized that line 190 in the tracker might be me. There could be a typo in the user name. Could you please help me to update it? Thank you!

Hi @DC1018
First, I want to congratulate you an your parents.
I have a question, Do they require household registeration certificate for all Chinese? My mom is here with me. Should I ask my uncle to get certified copies of Hukou and PCC now? I don't know how long it will take to get those... and did you send the scanned pdf or you mailed the paper copies?
Thank you!
Thanks.

From what I've heard, yes. I didn't gather the documents in advance, only until IRCC requested. PCC is only valid for half a year. We asked a relative to get them on our behalf, all was done within a week, the original and translated/notarized. At last, I sent scanned copies via email attachment. Hope this helps.

Where does it say that it's valid for 6 months? As I understand, the PCC cannot be earlier than 6 months from the date you apply. In my case, we applied for PGP on April 30, 2019 ( the Date we signed the PGP application). The PCC cannot be from earlier than 6 months from the April 30th date...
As far as my understanding goes this stands true when you are required to submit PCC along with the application (as in case of express entry). In case of PGP, they ask for it at a later stage of the application. So, it cannot be earlier than 6 months from the date they ask for. And "cannot be earlier than 6 months" is the validity!
