What did it change to?
IP2?
I have seen some people whose background changed from IP1 to IP2 with a ghost update. Then in a week or so, they got one more ghost update and then the next day, boom, PPR!
I honestly never paid attention in the beginning. The status to me haven't changed in appearance since Feb.

Calm down my friend. It's frustrating bu only if you let it consume your life.
Just let the time and process run its course.
So many from jan have started getting their PPRs now, its not long before you get it too.
Keep yourself busy.. time would fly..

I
Hey, my AOR is 16th Jan and now i am planning to write an email to Ralph Goodale, can any one of you please share an email address and what information does he need or any email template which anyone of you have written to him.

I have not ordered GCMS notes as well till now :(. This wait time is f**king frustrating!
I entered the club today. My agent says he'll raise a web form query and even though they give a standard reply, a case officer shall look into the file and
I am trying to form a hypothesis. Complicated applications take longer. Someone who is single and younger for eg would get his PPR much earlier. Also, people who have not spent time abroad, as there aren't multiple level of cross country security checks needed then. Also, foreign education could add time. People who get married in between the process or have kids.. etc.. they are the most likely to be in the elite club..

I am 31 and married but I have spent 4 years in UK studying and working. This is where I see my reason for delay in the processing. Also, someone who has had multiple job changes etc might be a potential Elite.

Its my observation, I could be wrong.
You could be right. I lived abroad and that could be the reason I find myself in the elite. However I am a single applicant.

Finally READY FOR VISA!
Jan 13th AOR
VO - OTTAWA
No update since Feb 26th after biometrics
Jul 25th - Profile Updated (Ghost Update), this happened only once
Jul 26th - Ready for Visa email
Thank you all for the positivity and good vibes. These are for sure testing times and will definitely pass. I hope everybody will get theirs soon. God bless all the beautiful and deserving people on this forum with not just PPR but also with a beautiful life ahead in Canada.

Feel free to ask anything regarding my experience through this process.
Good morning.
Pls help me with the number to call IRCC. My AOR is Jan 18th and till this moment there's no update or GU in my application. The number I saw online ain't going thru. My VO is Ottawa. Emailed Ralph once earlier this month and he said Eligibility hasn't been Initiated and I'm yet to receive my GCMS notes. So calling an agent from CIC seems like my option for now to get update about my application.
Thanks in anticipation.

That's really a good observation. Could you please tell me what exactly is this elite club? Coz my application is me n my husband both are below 30 and no multiple country history of study or work however he updated his PR application in between after our marriage in dec. He had filed in June 2018 and we got married on 12 Dec so my visa was filed on 14 Jan.

Elite club is nothing but people who have completed 180 days and did not get the PPR Most privileged people, who love IRCC so much, thinking about them every day every week just kidding

Golden email 23 July

I have been a silent reader of the forum and it's very helpful. The wait was painful. Specially becoz I applied via agent and had no access. Called call centre twice but everytime they Wud say that since my application is outside canada (london) they cannot give me any info.
After 6 months sent an email to Ralph office and they replied swiftly that all passed so that was one relief.
Raised a web form in 5 months, got a reply after Ralph's email that they will contact me soon.
Also order gcm yet to receive.
Wanted to wish everyone good luck and dont despair there is light at the end of tunnel.

Thanks!

My agent suggested we raise a web form instead. Will that be OK? As opposed to mailing or calling them?
My agent said the same. Once we raise a web form, it seems an officer would look at our file, which is good news and could progress further.

Hi,

Aor 20 Jan
FSW
Applicants : 2
MEP 12 March
Biometrics 20 Mar
VO : CPC Ottawa

Criminality passed
Eligibility and security not started as per CIC agent. Since i have passed the 6 months ETA , I called CIC on 23rd July and they told me that they will mention it in some notes to the case officer that there has been a delay. Yesterday I received an email stating below. Can anyone tell me what it means ? Is it in the final review state or it has not even begun ?

"Please be informed that your application is currently in queue for review by an officer. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with a date on which your file will be reviewed.

Please be assured that you will be contacted immediately should further information be required or regarding the next steps in your file."
