PPR it is!!!
AOR 7th Jan
PPR 24th Jul
CPC Ottawa

After writing to MP Goodale 2days back, had received a response stating eligibility is recommended pass and security has not been initiated but got my PPR email today.

Still can't believe it's true!

All this while the call center agents kept saying that security and eligibility has not been started.

Good luck to everyone in this forum, you'll have been a great support system in these testing times, Inshallah everyone will get their PPR very very soon.
Many congratulations bro.. I wish you all the best

Thankyou Wahegurujee,
i mailed Mr Goodale and got a response by evening ..the e-mail read as follows..

Standard processing time is 6 months. This means 80% of routine applications are completed within that time frame, while 20% take longer.

Eligibility and criminality passed.

Security checks have not been initiated. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.

Medicals are valid until Dec 2, 2019.

...hopefully the security also gets done soon , but this update did give a sense of relief- as my profile has been the same since 5 months .
Lets hope for the best !

P.S- did anyone else get a similar reply in the past few months ..where security was pending ..how long did the PR mail take ?
replies are very standard.
PPR after this update is still unmappable
the golden email comes when you least expect ..
Be patient and always be hopeful bro

This is Hope for everyone coming from the Evil One - Just kidding :D ..

But yeah - This is great information showing how well is communication passed on from the processing centers to the CiC call centers..

Well - All i could say is this is hope for all - even i fall in the same category ...

Especially since a lot of members are getting ppr for the last couple of days from everywhere - there is a lot of hope for all.

Good Luck everyone - be surprised with the ppr/copr one morning :)
exactly.. its raining PPRs :) ..

Hello lovely lovely people of Jan AOR group,

I dont know whether I will be welcomed by you guys as I am a Feb AOR Member whose AOR is 1st Feb who is just feeling being little late in entering the Jan AOR group by 1 day after reading the continuous msgs from you lovely people especially @rushi.gada (Gujarati I suppose - Kem cho bhai) & @Wahegurujee brother!

While waiting for PPR, I applied Visitor & SOWP for my spouse but both got rejected.

Does it have any impact on the PR file in process?

I would appreciate a reply from the senior members & experts of our forum.

Also tentatively how much more time Montreal office might take for PPR!

Stream : CEC Inland
AOR : 1st Feb, 2019 (Single Applicant)
Got married : 9th March, 2019
Medical Passed : 17th March, 2019
IP2 : 18th March, 2019
Informed CIC about Marital Status : 25th March, 2019
ADR : 28th March, 2019
ADS : 28th May, 2019
Wife’s Medical Passed : 4th June, 2019
Last Called CIC : 22nd July, 2019
Criminality : In Progress
Eligibility : Not started
Security : Not started
CPC : Montreal Office
Days remaining : 8 days

I wish speedy PPR to everyone!

Cheers!✌
Thank you for the kind words bro..

PR is processed by a completely different team but i am sure they can see your Spouses rejected application.
In case of PR, she is a dependent and hence should not matter if she was previously rejected. People apply for USA tourist VISA multiple times and get it even after being rejected

Just be calm and hopeful.
Call for the GCMS notes and see if anything is flagged.

be patient and don't lose hope!

I am getting extremely anxious as my AOR is 31 Jan and still waiting for updates, don't know how the applications are processed. Feels like a lottery system.
Dear friend, don't worry, everyone here has had a delay in response .. it is just taking CIC longer these days. Your application will definitely come through too. Just be patient and don't panic.
