PPR it is!!!
AOR 7th Jan
PPR 24th Jul
CPC Ottawa

After writing to MP Goodale 2days back, had received a response stating eligibility is recommended pass and security has not been initiated but got my PPR email today.

Still can't believe it's true!

All this while the call center agents kept saying that security and eligibility has not been started.

Good luck to everyone in this forum, you'll have been a great support system in these testing times, Inshallah everyone will get their PPR very very soon.
Congratulations satan

Hi All

I have completed 6 months on July 20th and received gcms notes dated 31 May in which eligibility and criminality are passed. Security is blank

Can I do something other than wait to push my application.

Regards and all the best everyone
you could ask for the GCMS notes again .. other than that, just wait bro. we are all in the same boat. CIC is normally taking 6-8 months now.. no stress

Hello lovely lovely people of Jan AOR group,

I dont know whether I will be welcomed by you guys as I am a Feb AOR Member whose AOR is 1st Feb who is just feeling being little late in entering the Jan AOR group by 1 day after reading the continuous msgs from you lovely people especially @rushi.gada (Gujarati I suppose - Kem cho bhai) & @Wahegurujee brother!

While waiting for PPR, I applied Visitor & SOWP for my spouse but both got rejected.

Does it have any impact on the PR file in process?

I would appreciate a reply from the senior members & experts of our forum.

Also tentatively how much more time Montreal office might take for PPR!

Hi all,
I am writing for the first time, would b grateful if anybody could put some light on my situation. I a little confused about this. Kindly suggest.
My AoR is january 25 and tomorrow is the last day of the 6 months wait period. I have not been asked for the bio metrics as yet even i have paid the fee. Some suggested that it is from their front n cic will send the dates later when i ll have the PPR.
I dont know what to do now. Is this normal? Is there anybody facing the same issue?

First - there has been a delay in overall processing time so do not worry ..
They might ask for RPRF fee within the coming month or two..
Meanwhile pls order gcms notes .. Raise cse email and call them bi weekly

hey dear, feel most comfortable posting messages here and you are heartily welcomed.

Even I do post at times in October, November or December groups to try to learn the pattern of PR process.

Coming to point that Ur visa denials,, I would suggest that 100% it wont matter.

Basics are You are found eligible to gain the permanent residency because of your AGE, QUALIFICATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE.
So relying upon your information the Canadian govt had sent you INVITATION TO APPLY FOR THEIR PERMANENT RESIDENCY.

Its like visitor and other types of visas are having different requirements and PR is having different.

One person can be rejected for visitor but if eligible for PR then no problem at all..

Other thing i would suggest is for search for a Montreal Wats app group through comments on Montreal subtracker in myimmitracker or find some through this forum or Even on Facebook..
A montreal group wil have people who are either through or in pipeline, they will give better insights..

many regards

Usually Jan people got Biometrics request by 40-45 days post AOR.
If you havent received any mesage in account,, then not to worry at all,, coz december and other guys are getting same done at time of passort submission post ppr..
Nothing is left from your side.. still if any doubt ,, suggestion is raise a CSE (case specific enquiry).
