I still have not received AOR. When I called them last week, the officer said my case is in the prospective stage. I asked him what that means and he said, I can confirm that we received your application on April 17 and the officers are in the process of looking at all your documents before an acknowledgement is sent. On ecas I can see my case says "application received". Very strange.

A&A, what did they say when you called them?

Morning ozonezone234. The person i spoke with mentioned that he could not find any update on my application within their system. However, he advised that I dont need to worry as there is still time. If i dont see a status update by first week of August, I am to call back and raise a request.
In my case, I dont see any status update on ECAS yet which is a bit more concerning.
Has anyone had this situation or heard about this before?

A&A,

Your ECAS status will be available the day after you receive your AOR email. So, don't worry.

still waiting for in process here too. It seems very slow for April applicants as some people don't even have their AOR yet. I fear that with the summer things are getting even more slowed down...hopefully it will pick up after the summer !

yup, we have no choice...:(
In a way, I have some vacation planned in September so I would be rather happy if they send the test invite for taking the test after that. I am not that bothered about the wait but it is always nice to see some progress on our files :)

You are right. Looks like current average time for March applicants is 40 days. Some of them were waiting even 60 days. We just need to wait.

I meant it's 40 days on average between AOR and IP for March applicants. But will be probably longer for April ones.

Time between receiving application and AOR is currently 76 days on average (between 62 and 93 days) for April applicants.
