When we applied, we said I was pregnant and expecting in June. Does anyone know where can I update our application to say that we now have a baby? Also, I (sponsor) am moving back to Canada at the end of the month, do I need to update this information somewhere?

Hi Everyone,
I received an email from IRCC requesting my husbands police certificated which I had originally sent in with his application package. After many calls and emails he received an email from "Centralized Intake Office" two days ago stating " Our system is now updated showing your police certificate has been received." I just checked on GCKEY and it says they are verifying the additional requested documents. My husband has gone in for his Medical & Biometrics but does anyone know the next step? or how much longer?

Thanks in advance.

Best way to send them updates is through the web form. You'll need to inform them that you're moving back to Canada because they need to be notified of changes of address. Again, I think the best way to do this is through the web form. Congrats on the baby, by the way!!

I am applicant from MAY and based on my call with CIC, they said they LVO has been informed about my file transfer and it should happen this week. Dont know how true this information is.
I should probably know this, but where can I find a number to call CIC? We applied in mid-March and our file still hasn't been transferred, so I want to call to find out an update and if there's any issue...

That suckx .. Have you tried reaching out to CIC about your file transfer ?

I would say most VO's are pretty behind. Jan, Feb, March applicants all waiting for transfers. Seems like the only exceptions are USA, India and some China applicants.

Unless you were lucky enough to be transferred to Mississauga then we still have a bit of a wait to go.

My husband did,but ircc never release any kind of information to even sponsor. So after applying for him as an authorized representative we got confirmation today. Now he's going to call may be tomorrow.

Phone number is +1 888-242-2100 and you'll need to select these numbers in order to get through the selection menu to a person: 2-1-0
Just be aware that the number won't work outside of Canada so you'll need to use Skype or Google Hangouts to get through if you are in the UK. And you might have to call a few times, I called from inside Canada and I still got disconnected a couple of times before I was able to talk to someone. SUPER tedious but try it. Also, they do say that the call center is only manned between 8am and 4pm local time (wherever that may be for you in Canada), so if you call too late in the UK it won't be open anymore. They're not super helpful, but they were at least able to let me know that my additional docs had been received when I called them back in June.

Just FYI, my file was transferred to Warsaw in reasonable time. App received 03/19 and transferred by June...AOR2 06/07

PPR today, so happy I could cry. Husband and I have been apart for 3 and a half years, I can't wait for him to move. So grateful for this forum, would have been lost without it! Wishing all March applicants every ounce of luck and positivity, I hope more of us get good news going forward
