Aug. 2 2018- Application received
Dec.19 2018-AOR1
Dec.21 2018- SA
Jan.4 2019- Medical request
Jan.15 2019- Passed medical
Jan.28 2019- Application forwarded to Mexico City VO
Feb. 28 2019- AOR2 in Mexico City VO
July 15- BGC started
July 17- Pre-Arrival Letter

Keep hanging in there. Your time is coming very soon. There is a major disconnect between the ECAS-GCKey and what is actually happening. It still hasn't been updated for eligibility nor for DM. Even though it says that the BGC started on July 15, that's hard to believe. It must have been in progress for quite a while.

Congrats. Seem that 12 month mark is coming true for everyone. Bravo!

Thanks for letting know. Yes, I am very curious too... Bet you are checking non-stop lol.

No. I'm working on my habit. Only checking about 17 times a day now, which is good. 5 minutes ago no change. I'll update you in another 5... ;)

WELL I HOPE YOU BOTH GET IT SOON AND THAT YOUR HAPPY.... ILL JUST STAY HERE... ALONE... CRYING..DRINKING BEER AND WATCHING THE NOTEBOOK...
I bet in some dark place they are fighting dragons and evil gnomes in order to save your application from being destroyed forever... And once it's saved, they'll immediately update the tool and ship you some cold beers to comfort you in all this misery....

When do you think you'll get your passport back after sending it out?
When they do ask for it... I am assuming 2 weeks before we get it back!

I didn’t pay for the ‘express anti-dragon’ service. False economy that was then...

So... when it come to the end and the passport request, some stuff I’ve read suggested that if you are in (or rather, have a passport from) a country which doesn’t need a visitors visa that you don’t have to send your passport in?

I am British, we’re in Britain. On Canada’s site I don’t need a visitors Visa...

So does this mean when PR is granted, that’s the end of the process? I assume we get a letter to take along?
