Visa Re-stamping

Hello,

This is Rahil, I am an international student in Toronto, Canada. I lost my passport few months ago and I got a new one but that doesn't have my student visa stamp in it. I have no idea how to get that stamp in my new passport. I also need to get a new study permit as my current Study permit has my old passport number in it.

I would really appreciate if anyone can help.

You need to first apply to replace your study permit https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/application-verification-status-replacement-immigration-document.html
You can apply for a new TRV if necessary and Include an LOE that contains a police report number and an explanation of why you are applying.

You should avoid leaving Canada before you get your document (if you intend to come back)

Hi i habe same issue. I lost my passport got new passport from indian embassy. Replace my Study permit as my old study permit has old passport number.

I just received email from cic that they have sent me new study permit to mail address here BC, Canada. (I hope new study permit shall have new passport nber printed on it. )

My question is how do i replace TRV stamp on my new passport?

Shall i apply as new applications? Or is there any other form that can get me TRV on my new passport?

1. Two choices, if you still have your old passport with the valid TRV, then that is fine.
