Yes they are behind, I sent a follow up with the tracking and no response lol. They finally showed up. I figure this next set should arrive late too HAHA

Well seems like the trend... but my app is still at Sydney.. i guess they should respect the timeline for notes... hope so.

I think the worse is to be there not to get any news... the SA part we have some emails it's really fast but when they switch to PA... total blackout as if naaa no more interraction only way is either getting the Notes or trying the Call center which pretty much won't tell you a thing lol even if you are Representative...i mean they could give us an estimate time of sending to VO something... like Sponsor been approved and app will be sent to Visa office which according to this day shall be done by ______ days (example 90 days). (Obviously they could include that this estimate is NOT a guarantee blabla...)

But At least we would have an idea !

Now besides finding by ourselve there's no way to get this info, even when you call to IRCC they gonna say your app is good and gonna be sent soon... They told me the same thing in May, June, July ... it's like that's not what i call that sooner.

Yes that is frustrating , I have a friend who is 8 months in and still at Sydney Nova Scotia . Try and hang in there .

What would be wrong and longer with a civil one? mine is too ... but is under law with the good authority signing and all.. I think as long as it's registered by competent authority this shouldn't be.

it may mean that but it means that they are looking a bit further into your relationship at this point

sometimes means that it need another agent point of view too before a decision is made on it.

My concern is cause our families weren't there, I submitted pictures of non family members attending our civil wedding as witnesses and a translator. And we went to local bar to celebrate with those pictures and that's about it. All happened in Buenos Aires and I spent 7 weeks with her as honey moon. Also submitted letter of support from my parents

Her parents were there and my mom was watching all by Skype since she doesn't have a passport nor can afford a trip like that but we can see her in a picture)

We had a celebration house for ceremony everything , cake, a good meal, evening with music and disco .... 50-60 guests , a translator from spanish to English for me, a guest book at entry , gifts and confirmation of presence. (Oh and i even sent the invitation card ALL guests received as additional proof)

And yes letters that support on both sides.


So i guess is solid if that's not enough for them, i seriously will be mad

Took a month of vacation there to prepare all..and to be there for ceremony while working from distance, which my boss has agreed to it. Been such a roller coaster and puzzle lol

Oh add to that the wedding is been inserted as semi authentic(as it hasn't been done inland) into Quebec Registry here on the return..... and i've received this certificate of insertion , recognizing the relationship and event. So if they look civil status and event ... they will see that it's been accepted and recognized by Provincial authorities.

There are several things that either makes someone eligible or not like criminal checks, etc

Today another batch was transferred from the last 2 weeks of November and the first weeks of December. So keep waiting for the transfer
