Correspondence letter without passport request

Hi all,
Have applied for student visa under
sds on June 29th,
biometrics done on July 3rd
Medicals passed on July 12th
Received correspondence letter on July 16th,
When should I expect passport submission request ?
My friends who applied with me got correspondence letter and passport submission request at the same time.. but I got only correspondence letter.
Is it normal? In how many days can I expect?

Is it the biometric correspondence letter you are talking about.... You will get your decision hopefully within a week.. It does happen with many... Nothing new

When did you apply ?

I applied via regular online application on May 20: study permit + Co-op work permit (it's essential part of my study program)
Biometrics done on June 3rd
Medicals passed on June 26th
Correspondence letter received on July 16th

I applied online on June 29th (with work permit), medicals on June 3rd, gave biometrics on July 3rd, medicals passed on July 12th
And received correspondence letter on July 16th.

I too received just correspondence letter today an hour ago. Applied on 27th june , gave biometrics on 2nd july, medical passed status on 17th july, correspondence letter on 18th july. Hope to get passport collection letter soon.

Hi, i received the passport request last night and the status on final decision changed to "your application was approved". Hope the same for you guys.
