Anxiety really difficult to control at the moment.
We are at at 217 days since AOR on 12 Dec. London visa office and no requests for Adr and no responses to our web forms. We sent one at 6/12 and it simply said our file was in a queue awaiting review by an officer.
Ralph's office said that our criminality was passed but nothing else started.
Any advice or help on what we can do to get more information?
I suspect it is nothing but wait, but we have so much on hold at the moment.

Hope to get the golden email like many of you have received.

Likewise. I left my job on 22nd April since I had to serve a 2 month notice period as per my contract with my employer (Quite common in India. They dont let you leave easily). My wife is in Canada on her work permit and we have been staying apart since Feb 2019. This entire process has made me more angry and consfused. I dont know what to do apart from waiting. I think i should apply for my tourist visa and see If i get it soon enough and move to Canada and wait for my PR there.

@ All,

If anyone who has updated their details in the sheet and received PPR, please mark entire row with green colour.
Why are you trying to recreate a tiny version of MyImmiTracker in Google Sheets?

Today I sent mail to Ralph Goodale for asking about the current status of my application & after 9 hours, I got this reply from his office.
I spoke to IRCC regarding your application received Dec 12, 2018. It is at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa.

Standard processing time is 6 months. This means 80% of routine applications are completed within that time frame, while 20% take longer.

Eligibility is met.

Criminality and security checks have not been initiated. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.

Medicals are valid until Nov 27, 2019
.

According to this mail, my file is at VO Ottawa, right ?
& any idea to anyone that how long it will take for criminality & security checks to complete ??

The problem if you do this is the life cost. I'm at Vancouver (very expensive city) and staying here without work would be super financially overwhelming. I believe that you are anxious and miss your spouse but take this in consideration. Furthermore, we don't have a clue how long this painful wait is going to take, I can find topics from March 18 and April 18 with candidates still waiting....We are talking about 17 months or 18 months, considering that we have "only" 7 months this could be much of anxiety and without the allowance to work and help your spouse with the financial costs of living.

I see some PPR for Dec folks. Congrats all of you.

Guys, those of you waiting, hold on, your PPR is coming soon. Like I mentioned before, at the end of six months when I received my GCMS, nothing was started in my application. Then I raised a webform and they said my eligibility is being processed and BG check not started. Soon after, I moved to IP2. Not sure if the webform triggered something. And in a couple of days I got my ready for visa mail. It took 200 days in total for PPR. I used to freak out so much because I had an extensive travel history (100+), 11 LOEs, proof of fund was a gift deed and my FD in home country and 4 PCCs. I've never been so anxious in my life.

Please don't lose hope, distract yourself with other things and please stay positive. Your golden mail will come.
Congratulations it seems that we have the same immigrabt profile regarding the high number of trips and the pccs :) lucky you. I hope it clears for me as well quickly. Good luck for your landing and new life in Canada.

Its only for those who have still not received their PPR. and Immi had a lot of data which i believe not everyone can comprehend. BTW

I got the same response from Ralph’s office on 11th July stating that background hasn’t started and only medicals cleared and eligibility is met.
And within 1 week I got PPR email.... so I will suggest to hang in there it must on it’s way... the toughest of time has already passed
