Hey did you get your PR card yet?Me too,
I landed on May 27 in Ottawa (inland)
Linked my application on Jun 01
Still showing in progress currently. Did not hear anything from them...
I’ve know clue what’s taking them so long!Hey guys, same situation here. Landed in Ottawa IRCC office on May 28 and no PR Card. Called the IRCC few times, and they couldn't get any answer why it is being delayed so much. I need to travel for work in upcoming days. Lost at what to do. Looked into getting PRTD outside of canada, but worrying that wont get it in 5 business days.
Really? So lucky. No sign of mine. We landed the same day and the same office. Sigh. The wait is killing me. Congratulations on completing the long journey though! Finally got my PR card.
Timeline :
Landed in Ottawa IRCC office : May 28 2019

Application approved: July 11

Mailbox.Hey everyone, a question for those of you who have received your card: will the card just be delivered to your mailbox or does it require your signature/you have to pick it up somewhere? I'm asking because I landed earlier this week and I'm travelling in three weeks. I wanna know if my partner will be able to pick up the card when I'm not here or if I have to be here in person to receive it. Thanks in advance!
Just to update, wife received her pr card on Friday July 19th, got mine today on the 23rd.Processing time is now 11 days but I'll detail my experience up to now.
Landed in Etobicoke on July 9th
Linked application July 10
Application showing approved for myself (July 17) and my wife(July 16). Will update when we actually receive the cards.
Something to note, at the landing interview I provided an additional document. We will be traveling in August, so we decided to bring our itinerary to see if we could get the card processing expedited. The agent there took it and told us that it might not make a difference but said that he will include it.
So yea, for anyone traveling soon. It's worth a try
I got the same mail . I figured since the letter just had my name on it then it was meant for me . what I did is that took the pictures again and mailed them out immediately , but that only happened last Thursday . the mail haven't been delivered yet .Hi, Everyone. I received an email from CPC to re-submit pictures again for PR card and was wondering if any one that went through same process can help.
1. Do you have a number we can contact the CPC from outside Canada ? I am in US and i have tried a couple of #s i got from this forum but none of them were able to connect me to the correct department.
2. I got the letter saying the photos don't meet the requirements ? But doesn't say whether i need to send both mine and my spouses' photos or just mine ? Do they put names of both on top of letter, if both applicant's pictures are required.
Appreciate your time.
Thank you so much for your prompt response. Did you mail them to the courier address or the PO Box address ? I read it on another thread that if you want tracking it should be sent on the courier address.I got the same mail . by the way, I had a rough idea what caused my pictures being rejected. in the last pictures my head was titling a bit to the right, I shared my doubt with the staff immediately but he was so sure its okay . perhaps I should have insisted more.
