your decision envelope is in process at IRCC New Delhi and will be send back to vfs once it’s done, what does decision envelope means?and how much time will this take ?
Visa stamping is done at High Commission Canada, once that is done, the passports will be sent back to vfs. In total, 8-10 calendar days

I am not sure of the exact date when they marked my Eligibility as "Review Required" it was between May 1st and May 10th. Before that for 6 months my application was just moved around from CIO to Montreal.
On July 12 I got a ghost update and today I called and found out that my application was reviewed by an immigration officer who passed my eligibility - hence the update.

Overall, I was in Review Required for 2-2.5 months

Nope. I ordered GCMS notes two times after I learned about RR but I haven't got them yet, so I was quite afraid that my application will be reviewed by an officer before I get the notes and proactively submit any documents that would support my case.

Luckily, RR got cleared on its own. They never asked for any ADR.

Good you got passed ... Such a relief.... Though she told me there is nothing flagged or asked ... She even added that a review required is nothing to worry about... But there is always a worry until it isn’t cleared

Thanks! I was also told throughout these months that there is nothing to worry about. It was after I read the post from an October AOR guy about him getting rejected after RR, when I got worried

Hi, I emailed Ralph recently and got the below response.
Anyone have any suggestions? To find my representative I must search through members of parliament with my postal code. What postal code do they want (the postal code of where my VO is?)? I thought Ralph dealt with everyone?
How do I find where my file is (considering I went through an immigration agency)?

Thank you very much for contacting the office of the Honourable Ralph Goodale.

If you are a constituent of Minister Goodale in the riding of Regina-Wascana, your correspondence will be reviewed as quickly as possible.

If your inquiry is related to a Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness matter, your email will be forwarded to Minister Goodale’s Departmental office. For future information, they can be reached directly at hon.ralph.goodale@canada.ca.

If your inquiry is related to the status of your immigration application, you can check the status here, or you may wish to contact your own Member of Parliament (MP). To find out who your representative is, please click here. In the field under “Members of Parliament”, type in your postal code, a picture of your MP appear; click on their name to obtain their contact points.

Again, thank you for your contact.

With kindest regards,

Office of the Hon. Ralph Goodale, MP (Regina-Wascana)

Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness
