are you a March applicant? I believe I saw someone from February was told the same thing as well so you're not alone

Does anyone know if you get the FP letter by mail or email? My FP were requested on june 24th and I haven’t received anything yet, i’ve submitted an online web form and they’ve answered a week later that an email has been sent on june 24th! I have checked my inbox, junk and trash emails and there’s nothing!

july 4th. In process
4th line mentions - we sent you correspondence on 12th July... haven’t received any email yet. May be they sent something in postal mail. Is this common? What it could be?

Today I checked my file, and it was showing:

"We sent you correspondence on July 9, 2019. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required".

Is this the FP request?

Sir, did you find out what it is? I received the similar update on July 12th. Made me a little worried.

Added. Please confirm once you receive correspondence that it is FP request. For now I have put it as FP request.

Just quick inquiries please, as I am thinking to go for one and a half month vacation outside the country and worried about getting FP request while I am outside:
1- Do they send FP request immediately with the ECAS update?
2- Do they mention a certain time to submit the FP?
3- Can the FP be taken in another country than Canada?

To all my Fellow Pakistani applicants,
My application is "In Process" right now. I have 2 questions for you,

1) My Pakistani passport is expiring this December, if i renew it now do i have to update CIC about my new Passport ?
2) If i would like to travel to Pakistan, does my Passport has not to be expired within 6 months ?
