It's so terrible total strangers get to decide your life,I can't believe that a person neither your husband or you has ever met gets decides this,it shouldn't be allowed,they don't know all the days and nights a person spends crying for there family,I think it's time they change the way applications are handled by these officers, you wait for over a year for a decision, and then all the waiting ends up in refusal,it's unbelievable
I know I am heartbroken now who knows how long we have to wait :(. Refusal should not be allowed for somebody who has a wife/husband sponsoring their other half. We r taking respo

Not sure what happened couldn't finish my post :(. Anyways we r taking responsibility for them not immigration. What they should bring in after the sponsored person goes to whatever country and later in life leaves the person that sponsored them they should be deported back where they came from. That way this whole process would be different. The whole thing is upsetting.

Unfortunately it is a very long and expensive process to deport someone. That is why countries make it hard to enter in the first place.

@gogetter13

Did you end up finding out about the airlines and visas?

After reading the post above by @Eveslm I had another look through the Schengen visa site and it seems I was incorrect before. Morocco isn’t listed as one of the countries requiring a visa to transit through any of the countries. So I suppose you’d be free to book through whatever country is easiest. I usually end up going through Paris cause it always seems to be the cheapest.
Sorry for my misinformation before.
It's all good. Sorry have been so busy with worko_O

I have some news. My husband went for his interview. After 2 hours of the lady asking him tons about our relationship she told him, no I'm not giving it to you. She could tell by the look on his face he was devastated. It was a test forsure. 5 minutes later she told him that she will allow him to come to Canada.

He went into another room and got the Canadian visa in his passport that day.

Hope others will hear good news soon too! :)

Hi everyone. There is so many pages, i got through a lot but if someone could help me that would be great. I am going to be marrying a man from morocco next year. We are just trying to make sure we have everything we need. What exactly is required and what does he need to be able to come here? Is it better to get married before we apply for a visa for him to visit, or should we apply for a visitors visa first. Has anyone had their Moroccan husband or wife come to canada and be able to live and work? Thank you all so much!
