turn around times are 50-60days before you will receive acknowledgement from them. Hang in there!

Applicants for countries on eTA only need to send passport copies and not the actual passport. You will be issued CoPR against the copies.

Certificate of Permanent Residence.
Your husband will be issued this document when he gets the passport request and he submits the copies. He will enter Canada based on this CoPR when coming as a PR.
