Hi all , I got a question here .. as I was checking my bank account I see that I have a payment refunded by immigration of $490 in my account on July 03 .. and today morning my employer called me to say that he got an immigration call to confirm my eligibility.. I am seriously not understanding what these means .. Have they changed their process .. Please guys help me out .. Have any one faced such situation?

This is scary. They refunded after 6 months? Did you get any reason? Ordered GCMS notes?

This is scary. They refunded after 6 months? Did you get any reason? Ordered GCMS notes?

Indeed this is something new that I heard..... refund of fees

There is hardly any consideration/reconsideratin/hearing or explanation in this system - what I heard.

I would suggest do it your self. You should check what is going on instead of your rep.

It depends on the reason. If it is a refusal. He should have got an Email.
If we have a refusal, we should first understand the reason and try raising a webform so that they consider the application to re-open.
Else rectify the issue and re apply, but if we plan to re-apply we should order GCMS and understand the details.

We also have the provision to Appeal, but success rate is less.

If its something genuine, they reopen it.
Yes, you can order GCMS any time, even after approval or getting PR

Might be refunded due to error in payment through credit card gateway... they will ask you to repay don't worry? Same happened with one of known.. have patience

I hope you are correct.
Looks like they are assessing eligibility with the call to the employer. Hence, I do hope and have faith in what you said.

You will receive PPR soon. One of My friend, his AOR 31st Dec received PPR yesterday. So in 2-3 days you can expect the golden email hitting your mailbox. Fingers crossed. Pray hard. Stay calm. Everything will be fine
