Its normally depends on which Vo they are getting transferred. For example if th App is marked for Singapore VO the medical follows after the file transfer.Hello
Need your opinion regarding:
Many old applicants (August - October 2018) are being asked to give medicals and all after their files get's transferred, while we were asked to give medicals and biometrics right after the SA. Why would that be different?
Being a Pakistani applicant my VO should be London, but still I got the medical and biometric request with SA and still no file transfer? How do you see that?
We both are kinda in the same time line. I am also stuck in Sydney after medicals. My VO is NDVO but not yet transferred. I feel like thye processing the background check and it is causing the delay. once it is finished they will transfer. London and Delhi had a huge backlog so Sydney and Mississauga started sharing their work. All we can do is wait and hope it is over soon.
My application was received on January 31. AOR1 and medical request were around March 13 and file transfer on March 20. We received a document request that everyone receives if their files are transferred to Hong Kong (submitted forms around April). Received Bulletin 1 on May 9 which is an email stating that our application has arrived in Hong Kong (kind of like a late AOR2 I think). After that, no news until yesterday's biometric request. Now that I'm writing this out, maybe it wasn't that long but since lots of people were getting MR and BR back to back, I felt like it was a long wait.

Thanks. I got biometrics fee request this April. Until now we dont hear any from them. Its been 2 and half months. I also received Pre-arrival Letter. I keep wondering why my biometrics taking too long.
I think you shouldn't worry about it. I also didn't submit fees for biometric with my application, which is why I think it took so long. I read somewhere on one of these threads that the biometric is sometimes one of the last things they will ask for if they don't ask for it right away. Several people on here received biometric request late in the game but they also got DM a few weeks after that. I'm not saying the same thing is gonna happen to your application or mine but we can hope for the best

Just one more thing: I received the biometric fee request on March 26, so it can a long wait unfortunately.
