Think logically. The reason you would apply for PR is so that you would't have to get a visa to live and work in Canada. SO, now that you have PR why would a visa be relevant? Do you need visa to work in your home country? You don't need a visa if you're a PR.

Jan 25th applicant

June 28 DM both sides
July 2 AIP
July 5 SA

Does anyone else have AIP but has not received a finger print request? We just got AIP Friday but have not gotten a print request. My wife was in Canada previous for a working holiday work permit , not sure if they took her prints then and don’t need them? Thanks for the insight.

Good morning folks,

Hope everyone enjoyed the weather so far and had a great summer. ;)

I am wondering who has received landing interview without receiving AIP, SA and DM?

Thanks.

finally got a response by webform for my RCMP police clearance certificate.

"We verified the information on file and are pleased to confirm that the RCMP police clearance certificate was received by the responsible office.

If further information is needed during the processing of your application, the responsible office may contact you."

Hello, I was also asked to get a RCMP verfication, I submitted the documents via mail. after a week I saw an update under 'Review of Additional Documents' - "We have received the additional documents you have provided'. That's all

should I send them a query to ask if they have received the RCMP? I am so confused.

The reason I sent them a webform is because I never receive any confirmation/update in my gckey. If you got any update in gckey I think you should be good. My ''Review of Additional Documents" still shows no applicable.

I am so confused by how our application is flowing. We now have DM one both sides, my wife received aip as the PA on Friday. We never got a biometrics request? Is this normal?

Not everyone receives biometrics request. You are good as long as you received AIP and DM.

Inland applicants are not yet required to do biometrics.

UPDATE:

Got Sponsor approval letter on July 5th, 2019

SA: July 5th, 2019

P.S - I got a refund on my credit card for biometric fees when I first filled the application in January.

It is not a bio-metric, it is RCMP police clearance certificate for background check. Out of curiosity, to the guys who did not receive request for RCMP police clearance certificate, did you guys submit any police record check? I am wondering if it is because I did not have to submit any police record check since I have been in Canada for the past 13 years and have not spend more than 6 months anywhere else.

Looking at this post made me wish I didn't move to London... If I was still in Toronto I would've already gotten final interview with Etobicoke.. :(
