TBH.. the news can be bad for you if u have applied from India. As the waiting period is 12 days and mostly ppl get their visa within that time frame, any further delay beyond 2 weeks only bleak the chances.

Bio metrics submitted and updated on account: 31st May 2019
Received the Correspondence Letter : 8th July 2019
And now I am still waiting. It has been over a month since my application and i just now received the correspondence letter which most people receive with in a week. I wonder why are they taking so much time here. If they carry on in this way, who knows when I will get the decision in the far future.
Can i do something here to ask about my application, as in one of the posts i read if the processing time of the application proceeds what is written on the website, one can submit an online forum. If this is true, can anyone please tell from where to get this forum ?
I am really hoping to as my intended date of travel that I've put in application aswell is 5th of August.
Hi i have applied on 6 jun online from dubai 9 june biometrics completed until now no further response while checking online status shows background review on process and application is on process it was 32 days today
For me it shows as underprocess background check nothing more then that and i have checked biometrics doesnt stops count days for biometrics you have always 1 months to do it which is not along with the visa process
That's what I have heard from people around me.
reason could be delay from the source of confirmation or any untrustworthy factor that they might have identified with a profile. in such scenarios they might take more time in analysing the profile.
Moreover, approval is completely based on subjective discretion, hence, slightest of issue can lead to delay in processing which can in turn lead to suspicion on intent ultimately causing rejection of application.
Can someone get the visa even after the date of the event for which they applied to attend has passed?
