Hi,

I claimed for protected person in Canada and got accepted and I got my PR as well. I added my husband as dependent within one year window for my PR application and still waiting for his application. My question is: Can I apply for open work permit for him or not ???

He can apply for a TRV. However refusal is pretty much guaranteed since you have filed an asylum claim in Canada.

One of my friends got an approval for his visit visa during his application process.
His spouse a Refugee claim with positive decision.
