You read a thread that stated that if you didn't include your spouse or common-law partner, you couldn't sponsor them. Nothing to do with bf/gf/fiancee that you never lived with. There is no conjugal for economic immigration streams.

Hi, I know that I can get out of the country while they process my IRCC application if I have passport,eTA, work Visa etc. Do I need to make a written statement before getting out of the country? In general,on the instruction page, applicants have to contact them if their status changes in Canada. So I don't know if getting out of country also needs to be informed or not.

Once they send your application to your local embassy, do you provide all future documents to the embassy or do you keep uploading through webform? I've been facing issues with my account and I haven't been able to receive msgs there so all communication is by email.
I was requested to send police checks and I uploaded them on the webform last 24th of June and I haven't received the confirmation yet.
Also, what happens if you are missing some of the police checks because you weren't able to obtain them? I did send a letter of explanation as for why I wasn't able to submit them but I'm worried that might affect my application!

I'm trying to extend my visitor visa while applying for residency through my Canadian spouse, the website does not allow me to do this even though the border agents told me it was easy. Since we are married everytime I got through the questionaire it takes me to apply for the PRwhether I click live or visit.
I don't know what to do, and my 6 months was up Monday July 1st, so I'm already late...any suggestions, please help.

i have a question and i really hope anybody can help me!! im litterly panicing and stressed out so i just realized that i made a small mistake when filling out the additional family form for under married accidently put down Married-physiccaly not present and that means neither of us were at our wedding.. but we were i meant to put present.. i already submitted the application , how can i fix it !! what do i do
You got that result because you answered the questionnaire from the perspective of living here, not visiting.
Have you already applied inland with an OWP before July 1st? If not, you are now out of status. If you did apply inland with an OWP app before July 1st, then you just need to wait. There is no point in trying to extend your visitor status now.
There is no office you can go to.
Once you have AOR, you can send a Webform to correct the mistake. Assuming you submitted wedding photos, the VO should realize it was a mistake anyways.
yes its a genuine mistake, and yes i have submitted photos of our engagment/wedding/outings
