I have linked the application to my parents' MYCIC account. The current status in eCAS shows the application has been received on both sponsor and primary applicant. But in mycic, it shows we are processing now. I have 2 questions. 1. when does eCAS change to in-process instead of received? 2. When the decision made for the sponsor, does MYCIC status change to DM as well or no change? I assume no change since the status for MYCIC is for the primary applicant. Only eCAS status will be changed to DM under sponsor? Am I right?

Congrats on the progress!

I don't believe you need a PCC for Canada, go to the link on the letter and look up Canada. For PCC within Canada, it will be requested at a later day, as a form of criminal record check. If you have any doubt, please call IRCC call centre to verify. I am on the same boat and only provided PCC for China as advised by previous years sponsors and IRCC call centre agent.

what does your letter say? does it ask you for multiple PCC? does it give you instruction how to obtain the Canada PCC?

Hi all.
Can someone help me? I am really worried. i mailed out the application package via Canada post on June 3rd. Tracking number confirmed package was delivered on June 5th, but I haven't receive any confirmation (AOR?) from IRCC yet. Does it mean they haven't open my package yet? or they did not receive my package at all.

that'S CRAZY HOW ONE SHOULD JUST TRAVEL ABROAD TO GIVE BIOMETRICS. TICKETS AINT CHEAP TO GO IF PEOPLE LIVE FAR AWAY. bUT i DONT THINK THAT CAN HAPPEN.
I thought the only place where you cant do the biometrics is Canada itself? So you can just drive to USA. No need to fly.

Wait 6-8 weeks then try to link ecas and mycic. No AOR have been sent to most of the applicants.
Mine was delivered on June 17 and when I called they said the envelopes have not been opened yet.

Read your own document request letter carefully then you will know. I've also already explained it in my previous post. I was giving you a friendly reminder but you should also do your own due diligence. Good luck.

@YULIA-2016 please update line 23.

Received biometric collection request today. only for my dad. when I submitted the application, the application form indicates that my mom is in Canada and my dad is in China. Thanks
Did they give you a time frame to provide the biometrics? any mention as where your dad should go for it?

Sorry to ask this question, I am sure someone has asked this question before. To check status on your parent's application on ecas. I as a sponsor should put my PR card number, surname, DOB, place of Birth to check the status correct? I submitted my file on June 19, 2019, I know it's too early to check but want to make sure when time is right, I am using these instructions. Thank you so much for posting updates. It definitely helps.

Is it possible to have application in process for both sides (sponsor and applicant) and not have the 2nd line, that we start processing your application?
