How does one find out which office is the file sitting at? By calling? Whenever I called, at any time of the day, they were always 'busy'. I am sure that 24/7/365 they are NOT busy.

That’s right. Most of the time it happens, but you might need to call them in the morning and ask them where your application is. However it doesn’t change anything. We all should waittt

Good morning everyone!
Yesterday (July the 2nd ) I had my citizenship ceremony. I’m very happy that this long journey has come to an end . I want to thank everyone for their help . It’s greatly appreciated ! And I wish everyone who’s still waiting the best of luck . Hopefully your journey shall soon come to its closure as well

Had my test today, I passed!!!! now i have to wait for my ceremony invitation

I have a question, did anyone else got asked to show your Confirmation of PR? the copy or original paper you get when you go and get your permanent residency to the boarder.
I got asked for it, i can’t find it!!

is there a way that I could get a copy some how?

Yes...My MP is working on it now. Hopefully hear from CIC soon..

After all the efforts that I've done like calling the CIC several times before and after the 12 months period now is guessing game again and how many months again after the 12 months period. I opted now to reach out to my MP's in our community. Hopefully to hear soon from the CIC.

As per the Excel sheet, it seems like Ontario applicants have not got test invitations yet. Anyone else have the same timeline like mine and still have not got test invite ?

Pretty much exactly the same timeline and still 'in process'. Looks like a lot in a similar boat. Does it look like Ontario applications mainly?

Did you meet your MP? When i called the office, the staff at the office said they will call the IRCC on my behalf and that is it. There was no meeting MP or anything like that. Need to understand this process better. Could you tell me if you met with your MP and what did they offer to find out for you? TIA

Same as here,applied 25th of July 2018,still in process with no test invitation !!!

I've just called the IRCC belongs to my case,she said it's still in "ridiculous" processing but you've been scheduled for test on Sep 11th but it's not confirmed yet !! is that make sense !!! as I said I've applied last year in July.

I called 1888-242-2100 this afternoon (26 minutes waiting time, not bad). I was told that my application is in Mississauga Office and it's in a queue for a test but the test date is not available.

I applied just around 1 year ago (my application was sent July 7th, 2018 and was received July 12, 2018. In Process since Sept. 21, 2018). My mailing address is in Scarborough and home address is in North York. I am just wondering if anyone could give me some estimated date for the test invites according to your experience.

I brought my COPR at the oath ceremony (it was on the list of documents to bring) but they never asked for it.

All they wanted was my oath invitation, media release form, prohibitions form and my PR card (which they kept) and had me sign two papers (criminality and acknowledgement of the oath ceremony I was about to take).

I am about 3 weeks from the 12 month processing timelines. I see a many July applicants getting test invites. Anyone else still waiting for a test invite specifically toronto/mississuaga applicants?[/QUOT
Exactly 1 year completed in my case today, yet my application is "in process". i called them 1 month ago they told everything is okay,sometimes its take more than 1 year. i am tired
