No i never tried requesting the note. I think my application is in normal processing I get regular updates or movement every month. Aside from not having my owp, which i blame myself for being careless and paid insufficiently.
It takes 30 days to get the note thing. Lol i mean really pray for my application goes well before that.

You should be hearing anytime soon just like other guys here. Or maybe your app has been transferred to a local office? I read such instance, their app was transferred to Edmonton, Winnipeg, and Alberta then things turn out too slow for them. Thats why requesting for the note or calling then might help and ease a bit of your worries

Hope that's the case. I haven't heard anyone got rejected out of all January applicants. Lol i might call today to see. Will ordering the note impact any process tho?

But why would they transfer applications to other office tho?

In most cases it has been approved. According to some people here. Perhaps, for the CIC to accommodate new applicants and finish faster? As far as i know, our papers will still be transferred to a local office to complete the final stage. Go make a call that might help. Coz whatever I said above, gives no guarantee. I just read it somewhere else here.

I am an 24th applicant, so basically, i got a ghost update on june 25, then i received this letter today. Can anyone advise i did not even receive AIP, or SA or DM, but this letter. I am concerened.

I am pleased to advise you that the processing of your application for permanent residence will be finalized at an interview that has been scheduled for:

July 15th 2019

TIME:

08:30 AM

LOCATION:

235 Queen St. Level C3, Suite 005, Ottawa






In order to grant you permanent residence, you must provide us with satisfactory original identity documents. All applicants must provide their original valid passports at the landing interview, unless these have been seized by IRCC or CBSA. Seized documents will be requested by this office prior to the date of your interview. No action is required on your part.


You must attend the interview with the following:



Ø All of your dependants in Canada if they are included in this application

Ø Your own interpreter, if required

Ø Documents issued to you by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada

Ø If you are being landed under the In-Canada Spousal/Family Class

o Your sponsor must be present

o You must provide evidence of cohabitation

Ø Two (2) photos for each person on this application taken within the last 6 months – see specifications athttp://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf

Ø Proof you have paid the $490 Right of Permanent Residence Fee. This fee is not required for minors or Convention Refugees.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Payments will not be accepted at local office on the day of your appointment. You MUST make this payment before your scheduled interview. You must also bring the receipt with you to the interview or this appointment will be re-scheduled.

Anyone did have landing interview please let us know once you receive your PR. Give us the period of time between landing and pr card received . Thank you for your time
