PDOS/Orientation requirement for Open-work Permit for Filipinos?

Hi to all.

Will I be required to attend any orientation seminar (such as PDOS, etc.) if I have been issued a Spousal Open Work Permit? If yes, where should I register for the said orientation? But if not, will there be any problem in immigration during the departure?

I'm having the same dilemma. Yung visa ko is W1 worker visa. Pero wala an ako employer or agency. Yung wife ko nasa canada na and cya yung direct hire sa work. In short Spouse Open Work Permit (SOWP) ako. Kelangan ko pa po ba mag PDOS?

SOWP no need po ng PDOS.

Pareho po tau ng worries kaya maganda din icombine yung inquiries and other people's experiences from this forum at the same time verify po malaga by calling the actual Govt office.

Hello po, Sana po may makasagot sa tanong ko.Kailangna pambang mag PDOS ang asawa ko? She's hodling a W-1 VISA. Ako po yung petitioner nya and wala pa syang employer dito. CFO rejected my registration kasi daw ang inaaccept nila is immigrant VISA lang.

Hi po nakalusot po ba kayo sa immigration? Ganyan din kaso ng asawa ko W-1 VISA holder sya Spousal openwork permit. Nireject ng CFO ang registration ko for PDOS kasi Immigrant lang daw ang pwde magpa register. Di na na ba kailangan ng PDOS for SOWP? sana po mabasa nyo tanong ko. Salamat

Ako po under PNP work permit, lmia-exempt. Ongoing na application ko for PR nung umalis ako. As far as i know po, based on my experience hindi na hinanap ng immigration ang pdos at oec..ang oec ay inissue para sa may LMIA at ganun din po ang pdos sa poea kapag may LMIA ka, pag lmia-exempt wala na po. Better call yung immigration airport po s naia. Kasi s poea hindi nila alam lahat, sabi nila s akin noon need ko oec. Ipakita nyo po yung letter na lmia exempted po kau

Under po kami ng SINP (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program) yung category po ng visa namin is w-1 worker sa amin pong mag-asawa and s-1 students naman po yung sa dalawang bata. Bali yung sa husband ko po Open work permit po yung sa kanya.
