visiting visa and PR

Good morning,

I am a Canadian living in Canada but my husband isnt, living abroad for business. But he comes to canada using a visiting visa evertime.

His visa expired last month and we have applied for a new one now,
but i am working on applying for a PR as well.

So is it possible that I have applied for him for a visiting visa and apply for a PR in the same time?

the reason is that he needs to be here by AUG-SEPT because i am giving birth then so a visa will be faster but a PR will take time to get the approval for him to come in.

Yes it is possible to apply for both, just be aware that there is never a guarantee of a visting visa being issued....it will always be at the discretion of the officer. But no harm in trying as he has come here before and honored his previous visas (assuming) , the applications for visiting visa will not have any impact on his pr application.

But can you please guide me exactly on where i should apply for the PR? I thought I can do it through my Account on CIC as i did for the Visa but for some reason I am not able to find it?

You cannot apply online.
