It does not affect visa officer's decision on in any way. They are allowing a stranger to their country, they have to be non biased in assessing applications. You should only go to agents to get information thats it. Rest you should apply your self. Your visa fees is $150 + $85 ( biometrics) total $235. You should no pay more than that to anyone. These agents are just going to upload your docs nothing more nothing less.

If it's in Québec, it's a bit too late because you'd need to get the Québec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ).. which take approx. 20 working days to have + student permit (3-6 weeks). Otherwise, you should do it as soon as you get your letter of acceptance. I don't know if you'll do SDS or NON-SDS. If it's NON-SDS, by now, to save some time to prepare your permit, you can gather : a proof of your financial capacity (banks statement, letter of your sponsor + his/her bank statement + proof of family ties (if applicable) .. it should cover your tuiton fee + 11 000$) + anything that can help you (tuition payments, scholarship, etc), your passeport (who doesn't expire the lenght of your study + entry .. scan it if you do it online), a passeport photo and do an explication letter (explain your studies in Canada, why, etc etc) .. With that, you'd be ready once you get your LOA. Anyway, time is tight, but you still have 9 weeks left to get your student permit processed. (last minute.. tight)

Anyway, I'm new here (english isn't my first language) and I'm helping my peruvian boyfriend to get his student permit. I'm really stressed so I'm sharing with you his timeline. Haha, let's help each other.

March 31 - Applied for CAQ online
April 1 - Application confirmation
April 5 - Sent the documents by post (express+tracking)
April 30 - Reception confirmation (they received it in April 8, but sent an email confirmation on April 30)
April 30 - CAQ delivered

June 10 - Medical upfront
June 25 - Applied online NON-SDS
June 25 - Application confirmation letter
June 28 - Biometric Instruction letter and Payment sent

Thanks for sharing your timeline. I'm applying in Alberta. I'm already in Canada but as a visitor and would like to study here. I won't be able to make it this Fall, hopefully all goes well for Winter.

Hey plz help me i got the exact same refusal im gonna reapply tom with a new sop and addressing all their concerns could you plz tell me how did u address these in your sop or in a seperate letter also what all did u additionally attach to reverse the decision .. Kindly help ... Appreciate it

As requested earlier that after biometric on 24th May 2019. Basically applied on 22th May 19. How much time is expected for final decision for study permit. Any body can guess? Applied from India online.

bro i was also applied on same date 22 may at vfs delhi paper application and still waiting

Guys, I haven't submitted my Class 12 marksheet (high school) with my application (SDS). Going for my Masters. Will that be an issue? Is there a way to send it now?

Yes, this can be a issue and can lead yo refusal on the basis of missing documents. Ask your consultant what to do next.
