PCC from India ( Original or copy)

I want to ask, that if PA is from India, does he need to submit original or copy of PCC? Cic website says PCC, but does not say either original or copy, checklist also does not say either original or copy!

Original. If a copy was acceptable, it would be stated.

The PCC needs to be an original one!
